Located merely a minute from the underground, perfect for quick trips around town. The building exudes character with varied room sizes offering a unique charm.
The breakfast area can feel a bit cramped during peak times, making it slightly less enjoyable if you're looking for a leisurely start. Some rooms might lack modern conveniences, like updated fittings, which might be a downside for those who prefer contemporary designs. The noise insulation could be better as sounds from adjacent rooms can sometimes disrupt your peace, especially during busy periods.

great location but small room
The location made it easy to explore the city. The massive TV was a fantastic touch for unwinding after a long day out.
The room size was indeed cramped for two adults.

The charming Victorian décor and friendly staff made me feel right at home. I adored the antique furniture and cozy atmosphere, which reminded me of my grandmother's house. The access to public transportation was a blessing, too!
A better range of breakfast options would be nice.

Had an awesome time with my friends! We loved exploring the nearby Hampstead Theatre and spending time at the beautiful park with its 9-hole golf course. The location was spot on, just steps from the tube station! The place had a warm, welcoming vibe, making our stay feel like home.
Unfortunately, one of our friends had a rough check-in experience. The staff seemed a bit unfriendly at first, which put a damper on things initially.

Spacious double room with antique furniture, comfy bed, and a private bathroom. Amenities included a hairdryer, free toiletries, and a TV. The breakfast had a good mix of hot and cold items. The hotel is a quick walk to the Swiss Cottage tube, making it super convenient for exploring. Everything felt clean and welcoming.

missingWrote a review on Jul 12spacious roomquiet environmentold-world charactercramped bathroom
Cozy, spacious room with large windows letting in plenty of light. Great quiet environment, ideal for a restful night and a charming old-world character throughout the property.
The temperature control for the shower can be tricky. boiling hot water comes out quickly, making it a challenge to find the right setting. the lift is quite small, only fitting three small adults, which means you'll likely need to lug your luggage up the creaky stairs if you're on the upper floors. While the room had plenty of space, the bathroom felt cramped, limiting comfort for anyone taller than 5'11". The décor, while filled with character, definitely shows signs of aging, which may not work for those seeking a modern ambiance.

This hotel has a lovely vintage feel, with characterful bedrooms that made us feel right at home. The location was ideal for exploring London, particularly with the Swiss Cottage Tube Station just a stone's throw away, which made getting around super easy. We enjoyed nearby cafes and the cozy neighborhood vibe, perfect for relaxing after our family outings.
In my wife’s opinion, a small fridge in the room would have been great for keeping drinks cold during our stay.
